An oldie but a goodie.

In 1997, English educator John Simkin created an educational website called Spartacus Educational (http://www.spartacus.schoolnet.co.uk/) that promotes what he calls “active learning”. The number of current and historical topics covered on the Spartacus website is somewhat staggering, considering what a “personal” project it is, but what really stands out is his section on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

Mr. Simkin also helps administer a discussion forum (The Education Forum) that, like Spartacus, offers a wide array of discussion subjects, with the highest amount of traffic again going to the JFK area. If you’re interested in a change of pace from Wikipedia, give both websites a tour. If you also want to learn more about the death of our 35th president, Simkin’s two websites are essential reading areas for the novice to seasoned researcher.

It’s going to be winter soon here in Minnesota. In preparation, let the frigid fails begin.

You are NOT going to see a lot of cute kitty cats on this website, but I couldn’t resist this one.

I honestly don’t know what this is, but it’s kind of like an alien invasion in the middle of a traffic accident after a time warp and bad drugs. Full disclosure: I haven’t had any illicit drugs but I expect that they would either produce these types of images or go well with them, like a fine wine.
